The wings of these Keruvim spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were toward the house.


*You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:


The Keruvim shall spread out their wings upward, covering the mercy seat with their wings, with their faces toward one another. The faces of the Keruvim shall be toward the mercy seat.


Behold, all of them, their works are vanity and nothing. Their molten images are wind and confusion.


*Those who trust in engraved images, who tell molten images, 'You are our gods' will be turned back. They will be utterly disappointed.


to open the blind eyes, to bring the prisoners out of the dungeon, and those who sit in darkness out of the prison.


They shall be disappointed, yes, confounded, all of them; they shall go into confusion together who are makers of idols.


Every man is become brutish [and is] without knowledge; every goldsmith is disappointed by his engraved image; for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.


As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Yisra'el ashamed; they, their kings, their princes, and their Kohanim, and their prophets;


*'You shall make for yourselves no idols, neither shall you raise up an engraved image or a pillar, neither shall you place any figured stone in your land, to bow down to it: for I am the LORD your God.


Cursed be the man who makes an engraved or molten image, an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and sets it up in secret. All the people shall answer and say, Amein.


*You shall not make an engraved image for yourself, [nor] any likeness [of anything] that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:


Again, when he brings in the firstborn into the world he says, *Let all the angels of God worship him.*


To them it was revealed, that not to themselves, but to you, they ministered these things, which now have been announced to you through those who preached the Good News to you by the Holy Spirit sent out from heaven; which things angels desire to look into.
