He stretches out the north over empty space, and hangs the earth on nothing.


The heavens are the heavens of the LORD; but the earth has he given to the children of men.


like the dew of Chermon, that comes down on the hills of Tziyon: for there the LORD gives the blessing, even life forevermore.


For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods.


Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing for joy together.


Sing, heavens; and be joyful, earth; and break forth into singing, mountains: for the LORD has comforted his people, and will have compassion on his afflicted.


As I live, says the King, whose name is the LORD of Armies, surely like Tavor among the mountains, and like Karmel by the sea, so shall he come.


Now these are the kings of the land, whom the children of Yisra'el struck, and possessed their land beyond the Yarden toward the sunrise, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Chermon, and all the `Aravah eastward:
