For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised. He also is to be feared above all gods.


LORD, the God of Yisra'el, you are righteous; for we are left a remnant that is escaped, as it is this day: behold, we are before you in our guiltiness; for none can stand before you because of this.


If you, the LORD, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?


Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all those who take refuge in him.


a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?


Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?


Then Moshe and the children of Yisra'el sang this song to the LORD, and said, *I will sing to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.


He has cast Par`oh's chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Sea of Suf.


Who can stand before his indignation? Who can endure the fierceness of his anger? His wrath is poured out like fire, and the rocks are broken apart by him.


Don't be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehinnom.


Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?


He said with a loud voice, *Fear the Lord, and give him glory; for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters!*


Who wouldn't fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you only are holy. For all the nations will come and worship before you. For your righteous acts have been revealed.*
