The scepter will not depart from Yehudah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. To him will the obedience of the peoples be.


Of Menasheh also there fell away some to David, when he came with the Pelishtim against Sha'ul to battle: but they didn't help them; for the lords of the Pelishtim sent him away after consultation, saying, He will fall away to his master Sha'ul to the jeopardy of our heads.


On the other side of the Yarden, of the Re'uveni, and the Gadi, and of the half-tribe of Menasheh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, one hundred twenty thousand.


God has spoken from his sanctuary: *In triumph, I will divide Shekhem, and measure out the valley of Sukkot.
