It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones.


Show your marvelous loving kindness, you who save those who take refuge by your right hand from their enemies.


You have also given me the shield of your yeshu`ah. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great.


Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed. He will answer him from his holy heaven, with the saving strength of his right hand.


*He trusts in the LORD; let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.*


Through God we shall do valiantly, for it is he who will tread down our adversaries.


You, who have shown us many and bitter troubles, you will let me live. You will bring us up again from the depths of the earth.


Why do you draw back your hand, even your right hand? Take it out of your pocket and consume them!


But I will declare this forever: I will sing praises to the God of Ya`akov.
