He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD.


The wicked have laid a snare for me, yet I haven't gone astray from your precepts.


I said to the LORD, *You are my God.* Listen to the cry of my petitions, LORD.


Keep me from the snare which they have laid for me, from the traps of the workers of iniquity.


I sought the LORD, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.


For without cause they have hidden their net in a pit for me. Without cause they have dug a pit for my soul.


The trouble he causes shall return to his own head. His violence shall come down on the crown of his own head.


Therefore glorify the LORD in the east, even the name of the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, in the islands of the sea!


Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering works perseverance;


giving thanks always concerning all things in the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, to God, even the Father;
