He said, *Naked I came out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.*


He lies down rich, but he shall not do so again. He opens his eyes, and he is not.


from men by your hand, LORD, from men of the world, whose portion is in this life. You fill the belly of your cherished ones. Your sons have plenty, and they store up wealth for their children.


As he came forth from his mother's womb, naked shall he go again as he came, and shall take nothing for his labor, which he may carry away in his hand.


What will you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which will come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? Where will you leave your wealth?


Therefore She'ol has enlarged its desire, and opened its mouth without measure; and their glory, their multitude, their pomp, and he who rejoices among them, descend into it.


*But God said to him, 'You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared--whose will they be?'

It is sown in dishonor; it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness; it is raised in power.


For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out.
