It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.


He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.


The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender.


But the noble devises noble things; and he will continue in noble things.


Give to everyone who asks you, and don't ask him who takes away your goods to give them back again.


As any of the talmidim had plenty, each determined to send relief to the brothers who lived in Yehudah;


In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Yeshua, that he himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'*


For you know the grace of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.


The LORD will open to you his good treasure in the sky, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand: and you shall lend to many nations, and you shall not borrow.


But don't forget to be doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.


For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the holy ones, and still do serve them.
