They sang one to another in praising and giving thanks to the LORD, [saying], For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever toward Yisra'el. All the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the house of the LORD was laid.


It happened, when all our enemies heard [of it], that all the nations that were about us feared, and were much cast down in their own eyes; for they perceived that this work was worked of our God.


He will still fill your mouth with laughter, your lips with shouting.


Oh that the yeshu`ah of Yisra'el would come out of Tziyon! When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, then Ya`akov shall rejoice, and Yisra'el shall be glad.


Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, the God of my salvation. My tongue shall sing aloud of your righteousness.


Oh that the yeshu`ah of Yisra'el would come out of Tziyon! When God brings back his people from captivity, then Ya`akov shall rejoice, and Yisra'el shall be glad.


Your righteousness also, God, reaches to the heavens; you have done great things. God, who is like you?

Then the nations that are left round about you shall know that I, the LORD, have built the ruined places, and planted that which was desolate: I, the LORD, have spoken it, and I will do it.


Surely there is no enchantment with Ya`akov; Neither is there any divination with Yisra'el. Now it shall be said of Ya`akov and of Yisra'el, What has God done!


For if the rejection of them is the reconciling of the world, what would their acceptance be, but life from the dead?
