Ya`akov traveled to Sukkot, built himself a house, and made shelters for his livestock. Therefore the name of the place is called Sukkot.


Gil`ad is mine, and Menasheh is mine. Efrayim also is the defense of my head. Yehudah is my scepter.


The Lord GOD has sworn by his holiness that behold, *The days shall come on you that they will take you away with hooks, and the last of you with fish hooks.


The border of Menasheh was from Asher to Mikhmetat, which is before Shekhem; and the border went along to the right hand, to the inhabitants of `Entappu'ach.


They set apart Kedesh in the Galil in the hill country of Naftali, and Shekhem in the hill country of Efrayim, and Kiryat-Arba (the same is Chevron) in the hill country of Yehudah.


Yehoshua gathered all the tribes of Yisra'el to Shekhem, and called for the elders of Yisra'el, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God.


Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, who according to his great mercy became our father again to a living hope through the resurrection of Yeshua the Messiah from the dead,


whom not having known you love; in whom, though now you don't see him, yet believing, you rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory--
