By the blessing of the upright, the city is exalted, but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.


A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.


The king's wrath is a messenger of death, but a wise man will pacify it.


If a wise man goes to court with a foolish man, the fool rages or scoffs, and there is no shalom.
