God who is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who has hardened himself against him, and prospered?


Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in his mitzvot.


I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.


Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.


Don't harden your heart, as at Merivah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,


The Egyptians pursued, and went in after them into the midst of the sea: all of Par`oh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.


The magicians of Egypt did in like manner with their enchantments; and Par`oh's heart was hardened, and he didn't listen to them; as the LORD had spoken.


Par`oh turned and went into his house, neither did he lay even this to heart.


Don't let your heart envy sinners; but rather fear the LORD all the day long.


He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy.


Though a sinner commits crimes a hundred times, and lives long, yet surely I know that it will be better with those who fear God, who are reverent before him.


For all these things has my hand made, and [so] all these things came to be, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.


and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.


True; by their unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by your faith. Don't be conceited, but fear;


Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?


But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God;


Let us fear therefore, lest perhaps anyone of you should seem to have come short of a promise of entering into his rest.


If you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, pass the time of your living as foriegners here in reverent fear:
