All his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. He said, *For I will go down to She'ol to my son mourning.* His father wept for him.


Ya`akov said to Par`oh, *The days of the years of my pilgrimage are one hundred thirty years. Few and evil have been the days of the years of my life, and they have not attained to the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.*


A glad heart makes a cheerful face; but an aching heart breaks the spirit.


The heart of one who has understanding seeks knowledge, but the mouths of fools feed on folly.


Better is little, with the fear of the LORD, than great treasure with trouble.


Understanding is a fountain of life to one who has it, but the punishment of fools is their folly.


A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

But because you are partakers of Messiah's sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy.
