The LORD spoke to Menasheh, and to his people; but they gave no heed.


but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, until there was no remedy.


For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention.


In the shelter of your presence you will hide them from the plotting of man. You will keep them secretly in a dwelling away from the strife of tongues.


He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy.


Why, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it can't redeem? or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stink, because there is no water, and die for thirst.


I will destine you to the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear; but you did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I didn't delight.


I have spread out my hands all the day to a rebellious people, who walk in a way that is not good, after their own thoughts;


I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears on them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did that which was evil in my eyes, and chose that in which I didn't delight.


therefore thus says the LORD, the God Tzeva'ot, the God of Yisra'el: Behold, I will bring on Yehudah and on all the inhabitants of Yerushalayim all the evil that I have pronounced against them; because I have spoken to them, but they have not heard; and I have called to them, but they have not answered.


As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the LORD, we will not listen to you.


Now, because you have done all these works, says the LORD, and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you didn't hear; and I called you, but you didn't answer:


Your habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, says the LORD.


Therefore will I also deal in wrath; my eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity; and though they cry in my ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.


It has come to pass that, as he called, and they refused to listen, so they will call, and I will not listen,* said the LORD of Armies;


while you stretch out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Yeshua.*


But as to Yisra'el he says, *All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.*


When Sha'ul inquired of the LORD, the LORD didn't answer him, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.
