I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn't hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.


He who conceals his sins doesn't prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.


*'If they confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me, and also that, because they walked contrary to me,


I also walked contrary to them, and brought them into the land of their enemies: if then their uncircumcised heart is humbled, and they then accept the punishment of their iniquity;


*If anyone commits a trespass, and sins unwittingly, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring his trespass offering to the LORD, a ram without blemish from the flock, according to your estimation in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering.


He shall make restitution for that which he has done wrong in the holy thing, and shall add a fifth part to it, and give it to the Kohen; and the Kohen shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and he will be forgiven.


It shall be, when he is guilty of one of these, he shall confess that in which he has sinned:


*'As is the sin offering, so is the trespass offering; there is one law for them. The Kohen who makes atonement with them shall have it.


But if the man has no kinsman to whom restitution may be made for the guilt, the restitution for guilt which is made to the LORD shall be the Kohen's; besides the ram of the atonement, by which atonement shall be made for him.


Zakkai stood and said to the Lord, *Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much.*


Yehoshua said to `Akhan, My son, please give glory to the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, and make confession to him; and tell me now what you have done; don't hide it from me.
