The LORD smelled the sweet savor. The LORD said in his heart, *I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake, because the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I ever again strike everything living, as I have done.


and to offer all burnt offerings to the LORD, on the Shabbatot, on the new moons, and on the set feasts, in number according to the ordinance concerning them, continually before the LORD;


Yehoiada appointed the officers of the house of the LORD under the hand of the Kohanim the Levites, whom David had distributed in the house of the LORD, to offer the burnt offerings of the LORD, as it is written in the Torah of Moshe, with rejoicing and with singing, according to the order of David.


[He appointed] also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, [to wit], for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the Shabbatot, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the Torah of the LORD.


Then stood up Yeshua the son of Yotzadak, and his brothers the Kohanim, and Zerubbavel the son of She'alti'el, and his brothers, and built the altar of the God of Yisra'el, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the Torah of Moshe the man of God.


They set the altar on its base; for fear was on them because of the peoples of the countries: and they offered burnt offerings thereon to the LORD, even burnt offerings morning and evening.


We cast lots, the Kohanim, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, according to our fathers' houses, at times appointed, year by year, to burn on the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the Torah;


Blow the shofar at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.


You shall observe the feast of matzah. Seven days you shall eat matzah, as I commanded you, at the time appointed in the month Aviv (for in it you came out from Egypt), and no one shall appear before me empty.


You shall burn the whole ram on the altar: it is a burnt offering to the LORD; it is a sweet savor, an offering made by fire to the LORD.


My bread also which I gave you, fine flour, and oil, and honey, with which I fed you, you did even set it before them for a sweet savor; and [thus] it was, says the Lord GOD.


As a sweet savor will I accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples, and gather you out of the countries in which you have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you in the sight of the nations.


It shall be the prince's part to give the burnt offerings, and the meal offerings, and the drink offerings, in the feasts, and on the new moons, and on the Shabbatot, in all the appointed feasts of the house of Yisra'el: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the meal offering, and the burnt offering, and the shalom offerings, to make atonement for the house of Yisra'el.


but the innards and the legs he shall wash with water. The Kohen shall offer the whole, and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD.


He shall tear it by its wings, but shall not divide it apart. The Kohen shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD.


but its innards and its legs he shall wash with water. The Kohen shall burn the whole on the altar, for a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD.


They shall be holy to their God, and not profane the name of their God; for they offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the bread of their God; therefore they shall be holy.


You shall sanctify him therefore; for he offers the bread of your God: he shall be holy to you: for I the LORD, who sanctify you, am holy.


The Kohen shall burn it on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire to the LORD.


*But you profane it, in that you say, 'The LORD's table is polluted, and its fruit, even its food, is contemptible.'


You offer polluted bread on my altar. You say, 'How have we polluted you?' In that you say, 'The LORD's table contemptible.'


then it shall be, if it be done unwittingly, without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, for a sweet savor to the LORD, with the meal offering of it, and the drink offering of it, according to the ordinance, and one male goat for a sin offering.


and will make an offering by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice, to accomplish a vow, or as a freewill offering, or in your set feasts, to make a sweet savor to the LORD, of the herd, or of the flock;


and for the drink offering you shall offer the third part of a hin of wine, of a sweet savor to the LORD.


The LORD spoke to Moshe, saying,


These you shall offer to the LORD in your set feasts, besides your vows, and your freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meal offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your shalom offerings.


But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Pesach, that soul shall be cut off from his people. Because he didn't offer the offering of the LORD in its appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.


Those men said to him, *We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why are we kept back, that we may not offer the offering of the LORD in its appointed season among the children of Yisra'el?*


For we are a sweet aroma of Messiah to God, in those who are saved, and in those who perish;


Walk in love, even as Messiah also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance.


But I have all things, and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.
