Yes, they despised the pleasant land. They didn't believe his word,


because they didn't believe in God, and didn't trust in his yeshu`ah.


For all this they still sinned, and didn't believe in his wondrous works.


Don't harden your heart, as at Merivah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness,


Moshe and Aharon went in to Par`oh, and said to him, *This is what the LORD, the God of the Hebrews, says: 'How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? Let my people go, that they may serve me.


The LORD said to Moshe, *How long do you refuse to keep my mitzvot and my laws?


Pay attention to him, and listen to his voice. Don't provoke him, for he will not pardon your disobedience, for my name is in him.


The LORD said to Moshe, *I have seen these people, and behold, they are a stiff-necked people.


*How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? How long will mockers delight themselves in mockery, and fools hate knowledge?


This evil people, who refuse to hear my words, who walk in the stubbornness of their heart, and are gone after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, shall even be as this belt, which is profitable for nothing.


Yerushalayim, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long shall your evil thoughts lodge within you?


But the house of Yisra'el rebelled against me in the wilderness: they didn't walk in my statutes, and they rejected my ordinances, which if a man keep, he shall live in them; and my Shabbatot they greatly profaned. Then I said I would pour out my wrath on them in the wilderness, to consume them.


Let Shomron throw out his calf idol! My anger burns against them! How long will it be until they are capable of purity?


For thus says the LORD of Armies: *As I thought to do evil to you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath,* says the LORD of Armies, *and I didn't repent;


surely they shall not see the land which I swore to their fathers, neither shall any of those who despised me see it:


How long [shall I bear] with this evil congregation, that murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Yisra'el, which they murmur against me.


The LORD's anger was kindled in that day, and he swore, saying,


Yeshua answered, *Faithless and perverse generation! How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Bring him here to me.*


He answered him, *Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.*


But if I do them, though you don't believe me, believe the works; that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.*


But though he had done so many signs before them, yet they didn't believe in him,


If I hadn't done among them the works which no one else did, they wouldn't have had sin. But now have they seen and also hated both me and my Father.


Yet in this thing you didn't believe the LORD your God,


For who, when they heard, rebelled? No, didn't all those who came out of Egypt by Moshe?


To whom did he swear that they wouldn't enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient?


don't harden your hearts, as in the provocation, like as in the day of the trial in the wilderness,
