All Yehudah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.


Then they returned, every man of Yehudah and Yerushalayim, and Yehoshafat in the forefront of them, to go again to Yerushalayim with joy; for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies.


On the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the goodness that the LORD had shown to David, and to Shlomo, and to Yisra'el his people.


so that the people could not discern the noise of the shout of joy from the noise of the weeping of the people; for the people shouted with a loud shout, and the noise was heard afar off.


At the dedication of the wall of Yerushalayim they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Yerushalayim, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with giving thanks, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.


and Ma`aseyah, and Shemayah, and El`azar, and `Uzzi, and Yehochanan, and Malkiyah, and `Elam, and Etzer. The singers sang loud, with Yizrachyah their overseer.


When he gives quietness, who then can condemn? When he hides his face, who then can see him? Alike whether to a nation, or to a man,


Now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me. I will offer sacrifices of joy in his tent. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.


The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.


I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will sing praise to your name, O Elyon.


For you, LORD, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.

But when the chief Kohanim and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children who were crying in the temple and saying, *Hoshia`na to the son of David!* they were indignant,


The multitudes who went before him, and who followed kept shouting, *Hoshia`na to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hoshia`na in the highest!*


Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.


speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing, and singing praises in your heart to the Lord;


Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises.


When the ark of the covenant of the LORD came into the camp, all Yisra'el shouted with a great shout, so that the earth rang again.
