Know that the LORD, he is God. It is he who has made us, and we are his. We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.


I remember the days of old. I meditate on all your doings. I contemplate the work of your hands.


Save your people, and bless your inheritance. Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever.


for he is our God. We are the people of his pasture, and the sheep in his care. Today, oh that you would hear his voice!


For how would people know that I have found favor in your sight, I and your people? Isn't it in that you go with us, so that we are separated, I and your people, from all the people who are on the surface of the earth?*


Behold, you are beautiful, my love. Behold, you are beautiful. Your eyes are doves behind your veil. Your hair is as a flock of goats, that descend from Mount Gil`ad.


It will happen in that day that a great shofar will be blown; and those who were ready to perish in the land of Ashur, and those who were outcasts in the land of Egypt, shall come; and they will worship the LORD in the holy mountain at Yerushalayim.


It will blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing. Levanon's glory Levanon will be given to it, the excellence of Karmel and Sharon. They will see the LORD's glory, the excellence of our God.


By your servants, have you defied the Lord, and have said, *With the multitude of my chariots I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Levanon. I will cut down its tall cedars and its choice fir trees. I will enter into its farthest height, the forest of its fruitful field.


He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will gather the lambs in his arm, and carry them in his bosom. He will gently lead those who have their young.


They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for he who has mercy on them will lead them, even by springs of water he will guide them.


Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of `Akhor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people who have sought me.

He shall stand, and shall shepherd in the strength of the LORD, in the majesty of the name of the LORD his God: and they will live, for then he will be great to the ends of the earth.


The remnant of Yisra'el will not do iniquity, nor speak lies, neither will a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth, for they will feed and lie down, and no one will make them afraid.*


I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Ashur; and I will bring them into the land of Gil`ad and Levanon; and there won't be room enough for them.


So I fed the flock of slaughter, especially the oppressed of the flock. I took for myself two staffs. The one I called *Favor,* and the other I called *Union,* and I fed the flock.


Then the offering of Yehudah and Yerushalayim will be pleasant to the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in ancient years.


For from the top of the rocks I see him, From the hills I see him: behold, it is a people that dwells alone, And shall not be reckoned among the nations.


Now the children of Re'uven and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock: and when they saw the land of Ya`zer, and the land of Gil`ad, that behold, the place was a place for livestock;


the land which the LORD struck before the congregation of Yisra'el, is a land for livestock; and your servants have livestock.


'You Beit-Lechem, land of Yehudah, are in no way least among the princes of Yehudah: for out of you shall come forth a governor, who shall shepherd my people, Yisra'el.'*


They are not of the world even as I am not of the world.


Yisra'el dwells in safety; the fountain of Ya`akov alone, In a land of grain and new wine. Yes, his heavens drop down dew.
