They traveled from Beit-El. There was still some distance to come to Efrat, and Rachel travailed. She had hard labor.


Rachel died, and was buried in the way to Efrat (the same is Beit-Lechem).


As for me, when I came from Paddan, Rachel died by me in the land of Kena`an in the way, when there was still some distance to come to Efrat, and I buried her there in the way to Efrat (the same is Beit-Lechem).*


The scepter will not depart from Yehudah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until he comes to whom it belongs. To him will the obedience of the peoples be.


The sons of Salma: Beit-Lechem, and the Netofati, Atrot-Beit-Yo'av, and half of the Manachati, the Tzor`i.

Yeshua came to them and spoke to them, saying, *All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.


They began to accuse him, saying, *We found this man perverting the nation, forbidding paying taxes to Caesar, and saying that he himself is Messiah, a king.*


An inscription was also written over him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: *THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.*


Hasn't the Scripture said that the Messiah comes of the seed of David, and from Beit-Lechem, the village where David was?*


So I took the heads of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, and captains of fifties, and captains of tens, and officers, according to your tribes.


He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.


Yeshua the Messiah is the same yesterday, today, and forever.


For it is evident that our Lord has sprung out of Yehudah, about which tribe Moshe spoke nothing concerning priesthood.


That which was from the beginning, that which we have heard, that which we have seen with our eyes, that which we saw, and our hands touched, concerning the Word of life


He has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, *KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.*

but you have this day rejected your God, who himself saves you out of all your calamities and your distresses; and you have said to him, [No], but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands.


Now David was the son of that Efratite of Beit-Lechem-Yehudah, whose name was Yishai; and he had eight sons: and the man was an old man in the days of Sha'ul, stricken [in years] among men.


and bring these ten cheeses to the captain of their thousand, and look how your brothers fare, and take their pledge.


See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hides himself, and come you again to me of a certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall happen, if he be in the land, that I will search him out among all the thousands of Yehudah.


and he will appoint them to him for captains of thousands, and captains of fifties; and [he will set some] to plow his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war, and the instruments of his chariots.
