I am like one who is a joke to his neighbor, I, who called on God, and he answered. The just, the blameless man is a joke.


Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Yisra'el, [and] his Holy One, to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers: Kings shall see and arise; princes, and they shall worship; because of the LORD who is faithful, [even] the Holy One of Yisra'el, who has chosen you.


He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease: and as one from whom men hide their face he was despised; and we didn't respect him.


They ridiculed him. But he, having put them all out, took the father of the child and her mother and those who were with him, and went in where the child was lying.


They were ridiculing him, knowing that she was dead.


But when Yeshua heard it, he said, *This sickness is not to death, but for the glory of God, that God's Son may be glorified by it.*


Sha'ul went down, and fell upon him, and embracing him said, *Don't be troubled, for his life is in him.*


Kefa put them all out, and kneeled down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said, *Tavita, get up!* She opened her eyes, and when she saw Kefa, she sat up.
