Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.


Seek you great things for yourself? Don't seek them; for, behold, I will bring evil on all flesh, says the LORD; but your life will I give to you for a prey in all places where you go.


But when they deliver you up, don't be anxious how or what you will say, for it will be given you in that hour what you will say.


What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.


*Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?'


Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.

No soldier on duty entangles himself in the affairs of life, that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.
