Then the Kohanim the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even to heaven.


Moshe begged the LORD his God, and said, *The LORD, why does your wrath burn hot against your people, that you have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?


Did Chizkiyahu king of Yehudah and all Yehudah put him to death? Didn't he fear the LORD, and entreat the favor of the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus should we commit great evil against our own souls.


But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of Armies, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Yehudah, and at Yerushalayim, don't go to Bavel.


Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches; Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord: Lift up your hands toward him for the life of your young children, that faint for hunger at the head of every street.


*Yet even now,* says the LORD, *turn to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.*


Let the Kohanim, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, *Spare your people, LORD, and don't give your heritage to reproach, that the nations should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, 'Where is their God?'*


Yes, though you offer me your burnt offerings and meal offerings, I will not accept them; neither will I regard the shalom offerings of your fat animals.


We know that God doesn't listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshipper of God, and does his will, he listens to him.


For there is no partiality with God.


If you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, pass the time of your living as foriegners here in reverent fear:
