After he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into the mountain by himself to pray. When evening had come, he was there alone.


Then Yeshua came with them to a place called Gat-Shemanim, and said to his talmidim, *Sit here, while I go there and pray.*


It happened, that when he finished praying in a certain place, one of his talmidim said to him, *Lord, teach us to pray, just as Yochanan also taught his talmidim.*


Now it happened, when all the people were immersed, Yeshua also had been immersed, and was praying. The sky was opened,


It happened in these days, that he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.


They answered, *'Yochanan the immerser,' but others say, 'Eliyahu,' and others, that one of the old prophets is risen again.*


It happened about eight days after these sayings, that he took with him Kefa, Yochanan, and Ya`akov, and went up onto the mountain to pray.


As he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became white and dazzling.
