My God, I cry in the daytime, but you don't answer; in the night season, and am not silent.


With my soul have I desired you in the night. Yes, with my spirit within me will I seek you earnestly; for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.


When Daniyel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house (now his windows were open in his chamber toward Yerushalayim) and he kneeled on his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.


Seeing the multitudes, he went up onto the mountain. When he had sat down, his talmidim came to him.


But you, when you pray, enter into your inner chamber, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.


Early in the morning, while it was still dark, he rose up and went out, and departed into a deserted place, and prayed there.


He went up into the mountain, and called to himself those whom he wanted, and they went to him.

But he withdrew himself into the desert, and prayed.

It happened, as he was praying alone, that the talmidim were with him, and he asked them, *Who do the multitudes say that I am?*


It happened about eight days after these sayings, that he took with him Kefa, Yochanan, and Ya`akov, and went up onto the mountain to pray.


As he was praying, the appearance of his face was altered, and his clothing became white and dazzling.


Yeshua went up into the mountain, and he sat there with his talmidim.


Continue steadfastly in prayer, watching therein with thanksgiving;


He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,


It grieves me that I have set up Sha'ul to be king; for he is turned back from following me, and has not performed my mitzvot. Shemu'el was angry; and he cried to the LORD all night.
