I said to them, You are holy to the LORD, and the vessels are holy; and the silver and the gold are a freewill offering to the LORD, the God of your fathers.


Let the Kohanim also, who come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth on them.*


*You shall make a plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, like the engravings of a signet, 'HOLY TO THE LORD.'


I will sanctify the tent of meeting and the altar: Aharon also and his sons I will sanctify, to minister to me in the Kohen's office.


Depart you, depart you, go you out from there, touch no unclean thing; go you out of the midst of her; cleanse yourselves, you who bear the vessels of the LORD.


in that you have brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to profane it, even my house, when you offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant, [to add] to all your abominations.


Then Moshe said to Aharon, *This is what the LORD spoke of, saying, 'I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.'* Aharon held his shalom.


*'You shall not give any of your children to sacrifice to Molekh; neither shall you profane the name of your God: I am the LORD.


*'You shall not swear by my name falsely, and profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.


I also will set my face against that person, and will cut him off from among his people because he has given of his seed to Molekh, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name.


*Say to Aharon, 'None of your seed throughout their generations who has a blemish, may approach to offer the bread of his God.


no man of the seed of Aharon the Kohen, who has a blemish, shall come near to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire. Since has a blemish, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.


He shall not come near to the veil, nor come near to the altar, because he has a blemish; that he may not profane my sanctuaries, for I am the LORD who sanctifies them.'*


You shall sanctify him therefore; for he offers the bread of your God: he shall be holy to you: for I the LORD, who sanctify you, am holy.


The Kohen shall burn it on the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire to the LORD.


and he spoke to Korach and to all his company, saying, In the morning the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to him: even him whom he shall choose he will cause to come near to him.


Command the children of Yisra'el, and tell them, My offering, my food for my offerings made by fire, of a sweet savor to me, shall you observe to offer to me in their due season.


But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
