You shall burn the whole ram on the altar: it is a burnt offering to the LORD; it is a sweet savor, an offering made by fire to the LORD.


Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.


but its innards and its legs he shall wash with water. The Kohen shall burn the whole on the altar, for a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor to the LORD.
