Yosef said to them the third day, *Do this, and live, for I fear God.


But the former governors who were before me were chargeable to the people, and took of them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver; yes, even their servants bore rule over the people: but I didn't do so, because of the fear of God.


The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!


*'You shall do no injustice in judgment: you shall not be partial to the poor, nor show favoritism to the great; but in righteousness shall you judge your neighbor.


*'You shall rise up before the gray head, and honor the face of an old man, and you shall fear your God. I am the LORD.


You shall not wrong one another; but you shall fear your God: for I am the LORD your God.


Bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse.


Therefore let's not judge one another any more, but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block in his brother's way, or an occasion for falling.


Give no occasions for stumbling, either to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the assembly of God;


Cursed be he who makes the blind to wander out of the way. All the people shall say, Amein.


If you call on him as Father, who without respect of persons judges according to each man's work, pass the time of your living as foriegners here in reverent fear:


Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.


But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Bil`am, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Yisra'el, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.
