But now, God, you have surely worn me out. You have made desolate all my company.


Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me. My heart within me is desolate.


*Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be none to deliver.


Her gates shall lament and mourn; and she shall be desolate and sit on the ground.


I will appoint over them four kinds, says the LORD: the sword to kill, and the dogs to tear, and the birds of the sky, and the animals of the earth, to devour and to destroy.


I will make this city an astonishment, and a hissing; everyone who passes thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues of it.


Fields shall be bought in this land, about which you say, It is desolate, without man or animal; it is given into the hand of the Kasdim.
