But the Perushim went out, and conspired against him, how they might destroy him.


*Woe to you, scribes and Perushim, hypocrites! For you devour widows' houses, and as a pretense you make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation.


But Kefa followed him from a distance, to the court of the Kohen Gadol, and entered in and sat with the officers, to see the end.


But some of them went away to the Perushim, and told them the things which Yeshua had done.


The Perushim therefore said among themselves, *See how you accomplish nothing. Behold, the world has gone after him.*


Yehudah then, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief Kohanim and the Perushim, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.


They sought therefore to take him; but no one laid a hand on him, because his hour had not yet come.


Then the captain went with the officers, and brought them without violence, for they were afraid that the people might stone them.


Sha'ul sent messengers to take David: and when they saw the company of the prophets prophesying, and Shemu'el standing as head over them, the Spirit of God came on the messengers of Sha'ul, and they also prophesied.
