Yet he commanded the skies above, and opened the doors of heaven.


Then said the LORD to Moshe, *Behold, I will rain bread from the sky for you, and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in my law, or not.


Moshe said, *Now the LORD shall give you meat to eat in the evening, and in the morning bread to satisfy you; because the LORD hears your murmurings which you murmur against him. And who are we? Your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.*


The true light that enlightens everyone was coming into the world.


*I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.


Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness. As it is written, 'He gave them bread out of heaven to eat.'*


For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world.*


Yeshua said to them, *I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.


The Judeans therefore murmured concerning him, because he said, *I am the bread which came down out of heaven.*


This is the bread which comes down out of heaven, that anyone may eat of it and not die.


For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.


This is the bread which came down out of heaven--not as our fathers ate the manna, and died. He who eats this bread will live forever.*

We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Yeshua the Messiah. This is the true God, and eternal life.
