For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evil-doers have enclosed me. They pierced my hands and my feet.


and will hand him over to the Gentiles to mock, to scourge, and to crucify; and the third day he will be raised up.*


*You know that after two days the Pesach is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.*


*Behold, we are going up to Yerushalayim. The Son of Man will be delivered to the chief Kohanim and the scribes. They will condemn him to death, and will deliver him to the Gentiles.


Therefore the Judeans took up stones again to stone him.


The Judeans answered him, *We don't stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy: because you, being a man, make yourself God.*
