Avraham prayed to God. God healed Avimelekh, and his wife, and his female servants, and they bore children.


Amatzyah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Yisra'el? The man of God answered, the LORD is able to give you much more than this.


There were born to him seven sons and three daughters.


His possessions also were seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen, five hundred female donkeys, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the children of the east.


So Elifaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuchite and Tzofar the Na`amatite went, and did what the LORD commanded them, and the LORD accepted Iyov.


Oh that the yeshu`ah of Yisra'el would come out of Tziyon! When the LORD restores the fortunes of his people, then Ya`akov shall rejoice, and Yisra'el shall be glad.


Oh that the yeshu`ah of Yisra'el would come out of Tziyon! When God brings back his people from captivity, then Ya`akov shall rejoice, and Yisra'el shall be glad.


The result of humility and the fear of the LORD is wealth, honor, and life.


*Speak comfortably to Yerushalayim; and call out to her that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned, that she has received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins.*


Instead of your shame [you shall have] double; and instead of dishonor they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess double; everlasting joy shall be to them.

that then the LORD your God will turn your captivity, and have compassion on you, and will return and gather you from all the peoples, where the LORD your God has scattered you.


But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as at this day.


The LORD was very angry with Aharon to destroy him: and I prayed for Aharon also at the same time.


Behold, we call them blessed who endured. You have heard of the patience of Iyov, and have seen the Lord in the outcome, and how the Lord is full of compassion and mercy.


The LORD makes poor, and makes rich. He brings low, he also lifts up.


He raises up the poor out of the dust. He lifts up the needy from the dunghill, To make them sit with princes, and inherit the throne of glory, for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's. He has set the world on them.
