My soul, don't come into their council. My glory, don't be united to their assembly; for in their anger they killed men. In their self-will they hamstrung oxen.


He said, *Naked I came out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.*


Is it good to you that you should oppress, that you should despise the work of your hands, and smile on the counsel of the wicked?


Yet he filled their houses with good things, but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.


Blessed is the man who doesn't walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers;


My son, if sinners entice you, don't consent.
