then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Yisra'el, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land, which you have given to your people for an inheritance.


Behold, Amaryah the chief Kohen is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zevadyah the son of Yishma'el, the ruler of the house of Yehudah, in all the king's matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD be with the good.


Return to your rest, my soul, for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.


House of Ya`akov, come, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.


to whom he said, *This is the resting place. Give rest to weary;* and *This is the refreshing;* yet they would not hear.


and when you turn to the right hand, and when you turn to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, *This is the way. Walk in it.*


Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; [I am] God, and there is none like me;


He enters into shalom; they rest in their beds, each one who walks in his uprightness.


Turn to the law and to the testimony! If they don't speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them.

I spoke to you in your prosperity; but you said, I will not hear. This has been your manner from your youth, that you didn't obey my voice.


Set up road signs, make guideposts; set your heart toward the highway, even the way by which you went: turn again, virgin of Yisra'el, turn again to these your cities.


that the LORD your God may show us the way in which we should walk, and the thing that we should do.


As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the LORD, we will not listen to you.


They shall inquire concerning Tziyon with their faces turned toward it, [saying], Come, and join yourselves to the LORD in an everlasting covenant that shall not be forgotten.


but this thing I commanded them, saying, Listen to my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people; and walk you in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.


But they didn't listen nor turn their ear, but walked in [their own] counsels [and] in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.


Thus says the LORD of Armies, the God of Yisra'el, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.


*Remember the Torah of Moshe my servant, which I commanded to him in Chorev for all Yisra'el, even statutes and ordinances.


*But Avraham said to him, 'They have Moshe and the prophets. Let them listen to them.'


Yeshua therefore said to them, *Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, that darkness doesn't overtake you. He who walks in the darkness doesn't know where he is going.


If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.


*You search the Scriptures, because you think that in them you have eternal life; and these are they which testify about me.


Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.


The father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Avraham, which he had in uncircumcision.


Remember the days of old. Consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; your elders, and they will tell you.


As therefore you received Messiah Yeshua, the Lord, walk in him,


For by this, the elders obtained testimony.


that you won't be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherited the promises.


Yet they didn't listen to their judges; for they played the prostitute after other gods, and bowed themselves down to them: they turned aside quickly out of the way in which their fathers walked, obeying the mitzvot of the LORD; [but] they didn't do so.
