but his delight is in the LORD's law. On his law he meditates day and night.


I will delight myself in your statutes. I will not forget your word.


I have longed for your yeshu`ah, LORD. Your law is my delight.


Indeed your statutes are my delight, and my counselors.


Direct me in the path of your mitzvot, for I delight in them.


Their heart is as callous as the fat, but I delight in your Torah.


Let your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.


I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.*


Moshe spoke before the LORD, saying, *Behold, the children of Yisra'el haven't listened to me. How then shall Par`oh listen to me, who am of uncircumcised lips?*


You see many things, but don't observe. His ears are open, but he doesn't listen.


Who has believed our message? and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?


Thus says the LORD of Armies, the God of Yisra'el: Go, and tell the men of Yehudah and the inhabitants of Yerushalayim, Will you not receive instruction to listen to my words? says the LORD.

Now, because you have done all these works, says the LORD, and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you didn't hear; and I called you, but you didn't answer:


yet they didn't listen to me, nor inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff: they did worse than their fathers.


Egypt, and Yehudah, and Edom, and the children of `Ammon, and Mo'av, and all that have the corners [of their hair] cut off, who dwell in the wilderness; for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Yisra'el are uncircumcised in heart.


But the house of Yisra'el will not listen to you; for they will not listen to me: for all the house of Yisra'el are of hard forehead and of a stiff heart.

But when he saw many of the Perushim and Tzedukim coming for his immersion, he said to them, *You offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?


One of the Torah scholars answered him, *Rabbi, in saying this you insult us also.*


The chief Kohanim and the scribes sought to lay hands on him that very hour, but they feared the people--for they knew he had spoken this parable against them.


The world can't hate you, but it hates me, because I testify about it, that its works are evil.


Those of the Perushim who were with him heard these things, and said to him, *Are we also blind?*


*You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.


He kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, *Lord, don't hold this sin against them!* When he had said this, he fell asleep.


For I delight in God's law after the inward man,


but the LORD has not given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, to this day.


whom we proclaim, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Messiah Yeshua;


For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but, having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts;


By faith, Noach, being warned about things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared a teivah for the saving of his house, through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.
