*I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, and pools of water. I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,* says the LORD of Armies.


The voice of news, behold, it comes, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Yehudah a desolation, a dwelling place of jackals.


Bavel shall become heaps, a dwelling place for jackals, an astonishment, and a hissing, without inhabitant.


I will make Yerushalayim heaps, a dwelling place of jackals; and I will make the cities of Yehudah a desolation, without inhabitant.


Therefore as I live, says the LORD of Armies, the God of Yisra'el, surely Mo'av will be as Sedom, and the children of `Ammon as `Amorah, a possession of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation.
