The families of sribes who lived at Ya`betz: the Tir`atim, the Shim`atim, the Sukhatim. These are the Kinim who came of Chammat, the father of the house of Rechav.


For their office was to wait on the sons of Aharon for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, even the work of the service of the house of God;

There were closed windows to the lodges, and to their posts within the gate round about, and likewise to the arches; and windows were round about inward; and on [each] post were palm trees.
