saying, *God has forsaken him. Pursue and take him, for no one will rescue him.*


*Come,* they say, *and let's destroy them as a nation, that the name of Yisra'el may be remembered no more.*


For they have conspired together with one mind. They form an alliance against you.


For the LORD won't reject his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.


The envy also of Efrayim will depart, and those who persecute Yehudah will be cut off. Efrayim won't envy Yehudah, and Yehudah won't persecute Efrayim.


The LORD will bring on you, on your people, and on your father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Efrayim departed from Yehudah; even the king of Ashur.


I said after she had done all these things, She will return to me; but she didn't return: and her treacherous sister Yehudah saw it.


I saw, when, for this very cause that backsliding Yisra'el had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorce, yet treacherous Yehudah, her sister, didn't fear; but she also went and played the prostitute.


For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD; because they have called you an outcast, [saying], It is Tziyon, whom no man seeks after.


If these ordinances depart from before me, says the LORD, then the seed of Yisra'el also shall cease from being a nation before me forever.


Thus says the LORD: If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, then will I also cast off all the seed of Yisra'el for all that they have done, says the LORD.


The word of the LORD came to Yirmeyahu, saying,


then will I also cast away the seed of Ya`akov, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya`akov: for I will cause their captivity to return, and will have mercy on them.


For Yisra'el is not forsaken, nor Yehudah, of his God, of the LORD of Armies; though their land is full of guilt against the Holy One of Yisra'el.


Depart you, they cried to them, Unclean! depart, depart, don't touch! When they fled away and wandered, men said among the nations, They shall no more sojourn [here].


and tell the children of `Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord GOD: Thus says the Lord GOD, Because you said, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against Eretz-Yisra'el, when it was made desolate; and against the house of Yehudah, when they went into captivity:


Son of man, because Tzor has said against Yerushalayim, Aha, she is broken: the gate of the peoples; she is turned to me; I shall be replenished, now that she is laid waste:


Thus says the Lord GOD: Because the enemy has said against you, Aha! and, The ancient high places are ours in possession;


When they came to the nations, where they went, they profaned my holy name; in that men said of them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.


Then he said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Yisra'el: behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are clean cut off.


and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Yisra'el; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all;
