All the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over: the king also himself passed over the brook Kidron, and all the people passed over, toward the way of the wilderness.


So they made way for her; and she went by the way of the horses' entry to the king's house: and there was she slain.


The altars that were on the roof of the upper chamber of Achaz, which the kings of Yehudah had made, and the altars which Menasheh had made in the two courts of the house of the LORD, did the king break down, and beat [them] down from there, and cast the dust of them into the brook Kidron.


He brought out the Asherah from the house of the LORD, outside of Yerushalayim, to the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and beat it to dust, and cast the dust of it on the graves of the common people.


So they made way for her; and she went to the entrance of the horse gate to the king's house: and they killed her there.


Above the horse gate repaired the Kohanim, everyone over against his own house.


We have thought about your loving kindness, God, in the midst of your temple.


Thus says your Lord GOD, and your God who pleads the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of your hand the cup of staggering, even the bowl of the cup of my wrath; you shall no more drink it again:


behold, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down and to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant.


At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up and to break down and to destroy it;


Now therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, concerning this city, about which you say, It is given into the hand of the king of Bavel by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence:


and they shall spread them before the sun, and the moon, and all the army of the sky, which they have loved, and which they have served, and after which they have walked, and which they have sought, and which they have worshiped: they shall not be gathered, nor be buried, they shall be for dung on the surface of the earth.


He caused me to pass by them round about: and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and behold, they were very dry.


They shall dwell in the land that I have given to Ya`akov my servant, in which your fathers lived; and they shall dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children's children, forever: and David my servant shall be their prince for ever.


neither will I hide my face any more from them; for I have poured out my Spirit on the house of Yisra'el, says the Lord GOD.


It shall be eighteen thousand [reeds] round about: and the name of the city from that day shall be, the LORD is there.


*So you will know that I am the LORD, your God, dwelling in Tziyon, my holy mountain. Then Yerushalayim will be holy, and no strangers will pass through her any more.


Men will dwell therein, and there will be no more curse; but Yerushalayim will dwell safely.


In that day there will be on the bells of the horses, *HOLY TO THE LORD;* and the pots in the LORD's house will be like the bowls before the altar.


When Yeshua had spoken these words, he went out with his talmidim over the brook Kidron, where was a garden, into which he and his talmidim entered.
