The law of his God is in his heart. None of his steps shall slide.


I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.*


He has swallowed up death forever! The Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces. He will take the reproach of his people away from off all the earth, for the LORD has spoken it.


For the LORD is our judge. The LORD is our lawgiver. The LORD is our king. He will save us.


Yeshaiyahu said to them, *Tell your master, 'Thus says the LORD, *Don't be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Ashur have blasphemed me.


Listen to me, you who follow after righteousness, you who seek the LORD: look to the rock whence you were hewn, and to the hold of the pit whence you were dug.


Don't be afraid; for you shall not be ashamed: neither be confounded; for you shall not be disappointed: for you shall forget the shame of your youth; and the reproach of your widowhood shall you remember no more.


You therefore gird up your waist, and arise, and speak to them all that I command you: don't be dismayed at them, lest I dismay you before them.


You, son of man, don't be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: don't be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

*Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.


Blessed are you when men shall hate you, and when they shall exclude and mock you, and throw out your name as evil, for the Son of Man's sake.
