and he went out to meet Asa, and said to him, Hear you me, Asa, and all Yehudah and Binyamin: the LORD is with you, while you are with him; and if you seek him, he will be found of you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.


But when in their distress they turned to the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, and sought him, he was found of them.


This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face--even Ya`akov. Selah.


For judgment will return to righteousness. All the upright in heart shall follow it.


The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but he loves him who follows after righteousness.


He who follows after righteousness and kindness finds life, righteousness, and honor.


I have not spoken in secret, in a place of the land of darkness; I didn't say to the seed of Ya`akov, Seek you me in vain: I, the LORD, speak righteousness, I declare things that are right.


Hear you this, house of Ya`akov, who are called by the name of Yisra'el, and are come forth out of the waters of Yehudah; who swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Yisra'el, but not in truth, nor in righteousness


Listen to me, O Ya`akov, and Yisra'el my called: I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.


Attend to me, my people; and give ear to me, my nation: for a law shall go forth from me, and I will establish my justice for a light of the peoples.


Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; don't you fear the reproach of men, neither be you dismayed at their insults.


Seek you the LORD while he may be found; call you on him while he is near:


Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of `Akhor a place for herds to lie down in, for my people who have sought me.


Seek the LORD, and you will live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Yosef, and it devour, and there be no one to quench it in Beit-El.


Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, who have kept his ordinances. Seek righteousness. Seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the LORD's anger.


Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.


But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.


For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God.


So then, let us follow after things which make for shalom, and things by which we may build one another up.


Brothers, I don't regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before,


But you, man of God, flee these things, and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, and gentleness.


Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.


Follow after shalom with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,
