Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go, and will bring you again into this land. For I will not leave you, until I have done that which I have spoken of to you.*


The word of the LORD came to him, saying,


Now therefore, LORD, the God of Yisra'el, let your word be verified, which you spoke to your servant David.


My strength is dried up like a potsherd. My tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. You have brought me into the dust of death.


This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.


I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.


My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?


Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.*


Don't let the oppressed return ashamed. Let the poor and needy praise your name.


For the LORD won't reject his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.


The people were thirsty for water there; and the people murmured against Moshe, and said, *Why have you brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us, our children, and our livestock with thirst?*


Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Chorev. You shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.* Moshe did so in the sight of the elders of Yisra'el.


For the people will dwell in Tziyon at Yerushalayim. You will weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the voice of your cry. When he hears you, he will answer you.


I will bring the blind by a way that they don't know. I will lead them in paths that they don't know. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. I will do these things, and I will not forsake them.


The animals of the field shall honor me, the jackals and the ostriches; because I give water in the wilderness and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen,


For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and streams on the dry ground. I will pour my Spirit on your seed, and my blessing on your offspring:


They didn't thirst when he led them through the deserts; he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them; he split the rock also, and the waters gushed out.


They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for he who has mercy on them will lead them, even by springs of water he will guide them.


Ho, everyone who thirsts, come you to the waters, and he who has no money; come you, buy, and eat; yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.


and the LORD will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in dry places, and make strong your bones; and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters don't fail.


The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the humble; he has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening [of the prison] to those who are bound;


They shall call them The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and you shall be called Sought out, A city not forsaken.


Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but you shall be disappointed;


It shall happen that, before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.


For all these things has my hand made, and [so] all these things came to be, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word.


For I have satiated the weary soul, and every sorrowful soul have I replenished.


The tongue of the sucking child cleaves to the roof of his mouth for thirst: The young children ask bread, and no man breaks it to them.


Then said he to me, These waters issue forth toward the eastern region, and shall go down into the `Aravah; and they shall go toward the sea; into the sea [shall the waters go] which were made to issue forth; and the waters shall be healed.


*Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.


Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.


He cried and said, 'Father Avraham, have mercy on me, and send El'azar, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue! For I am in anguish in this flame.'


He has said to me, *My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.* Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Messiah may rest on me.


He said to me, *It is done! I am the Alef and the Tav, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.


The Spirit and the bride say, *Come!* He who hears, let him say, *Come!* He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.
