Therefore the Lord, the LORD of Armies, will send among his fat ones leanness; and under his glory a burning will be kindled like the burning of fire.


The light of Yisra'el will be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame; and it will burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day.


It will happen in that day that the nations will seek the root of Yishai, who stands as a banner of the peoples; and his resting place will be glorious.


Set up a banner on the bare mountain! Lift up your voice to them! Wave your hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.


The nations will rush like the rushing of many waters: but he will rebuke them, and they will flee far off, and will be chased like the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like the whirling dust before the storm.


All you inhabitants of the world, and you dwellers on the earth, when a banner is lifted up on the mountains, look! When the shofar is blown, listen!
