Most certainly my house is not so with God, yet he has made with me an everlasting covenant, ordered in all things, and sure, for it is all my salvation, and all [my] desire, although he doesn't make it grow.


Blessed are those who keep justice. Blessed is one who does what is right at all times.


I wait for the LORD. My soul waits. I hope in his word.


I was also blameless with him. I kept myself from my iniquity.


My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?


Who by his power forms the mountains, having armed yourself with strength;


Who do I have in heaven? There is no one on earth who I desire besides you.


My soul longs, and even faints for the courts of the LORD. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.


God said moreover to Moshe, *You shall tell the children of Yisra'el this, 'The LORD, the God of your fathers, the God of Avraham, the God of Yitzchak, and the God of Ya`akov, has sent me to you.' This is my name forever, and this is my memorial to all generations.


I adjure you, daughters of Yerushalayim, If you find my beloved, that you tell him that I am faint with love. Friends


In that day you will say, *Give thanks to the LORD! Call on his name. Declare his doings among the peoples. Proclaim that his name is exalted!


Therefore glorify the LORD in the east, even the name of the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, in the islands of the sea!


The LORD, you are my God. I will exalt you! I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago, in complete faithfulness and truth.


It shall be said in that day, *Behold, this is our God! We have waited for him, and he will save us! This is the LORD! We have waited for him. We will be glad and rejoice in his yeshu`ah!*


The LORD our God, other lords besides you have had dominion over us, but by you only will we make mention of your name.


Therefore the LORD will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you, for the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him.


LORD, be gracious to us. We have waited for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.


Kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers: they shall bow down to you with their faces to the earth, and lick the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am the LORD; and those who wait for me shall not be disappointed.


Attend to me, my people; and give ear to me, my nation: for a law shall go forth from me, and I will establish my justice for a light of the peoples.


Thus says the LORD, Keep you justice, and do righteousness; for my yeshu`ah is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.


Indeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods; but we will walk in the name of the LORD our God forever and ever.


But as for me, I will look to the LORD. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.


*Remember the Torah of Moshe my servant, which I commanded to him in Chorev for all Yisra'el, even statutes and ordinances.


These are the mitzvot and the ordinances which the LORD commanded by Moshe to the children of Yisra'el in the plains of Mo'av by the Yarden at Yericho.


They were both righteous before God, walking blamelessly in all the mitzvot and ordinances of the Lord.


Being assembled together with them, he charged them, *Don't depart from Yerushalayim, but wait for the promise of the Father, which you heard from me.


But if we hope for that which we don't see, we wait for it with patience.


May the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patience of Messiah.
