I will stretch over Yerushalayim the line of Shomron, and the plummet of the house of Ach'av; and I will wipe Yerushalayim as a man wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.


Remember, I beg you, the word that you commanded your servant Moshe, saying, If you trespass, I will scatter you abroad among the peoples:


The LORD preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but the way of the wicked he turns upside down.


Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place in the wrath of the LORD of Armies, and in the day of his fierce anger.


They come from a far country, from the uttermost part of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.


Men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of the LORD, and from the glory of his majesty, when he arises to shake the earth mightily.
