Turn back, and tell Chizkiyahu the prince of my people, Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: behold, I will heal you; on the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD.


If you return to the Almighty, you shall be built up, if you put away unrighteousness far from your tents.


For he wounds, and binds up. He injures, and his hands make whole.


and the frogs shall come up both on you, and on your people, and on all your servants.'*


It will happen in that day that the Lord will set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant that is left of his people from Ashur, from Egypt, from Patros, from Kush, from `Elam, from Shin`ar, from Chamat, and from the islands of the sea.


It will happen in that day that a great shofar will be blown; and those who were ready to perish in the land of Ashur, and those who were outcasts in the land of Egypt, shall come; and they will worship the LORD in the holy mountain at Yerushalayim.


Moreover the light of the moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD binds up the fracture of his people, and heals the wound they were struck with.


Thus says the LORD: *The labor of Egypt, and the merchandise of Kush, and the Seva'im, men of stature, shall come over to you, and they shall be yours. They shall go after you. In chains they shall come over; and they shall fall down to you. They shall make supplication to you: 'Surely God is in you; and there is none else, there is no other god.


let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.


I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.


Make the heart of this people fat. Make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed.*


For thus says the Lord GOD: *At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the peoples where they were scattered;


Yisra'el, return to the LORD your God; for you have fallen because of your sin.


I will go and return to my place, until they acknowledge their offense, and seek my face. In their affliction they will seek me earnestly.*


After two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we will live before him.


See now that I, even I, am he, There is no god with me. I kill, and I make alive. I wound, and I heal. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand.


All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby.
