After these things, and this faithfulness, Sancheriv king of Ashur came, and entered into Yehudah, and encamped against the fortified cities, and thought to win them for himself.


When Chizkiyahu saw that Sancheriv was come, and that he was purposed to fight against Yerushalayim,


The daughter of Tziyon is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a field of melons, like a besieged city.


Therefore the Lord, the LORD of Armies, says *My people who dwell in Tziyon, don't be afraid of the Ashur, though he strike you with the rod, and lift up his staff against you, as Egypt did.


Madmenah is a fugitive. The inhabitants of Gevim flee for safety.


The LORD will utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea; and with his scorching wind he will wave his hand over the River, and will split it into seven streams, and cause men to march over in sandals.


Set up a banner on the bare mountain! Lift up your voice to them! Wave your hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

Then answered Do'eg the Edomite, who stood by the servants of Sha'ul, and said, I saw the son of Yishai coming to Nov, to Achimelekh the son of Achituv.
