Therefore the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell therein are found guilty. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.


The LORD, your hand is lifted up, yet they don't see; but they will see your zeal for the people, and be disappointed. Yes, fire will consume your adversaries.


Wrath is not in me, but if I should find briers and thorns, I would do battle! I would march on them and I would burn them together.


You will conceive chaff. You will bring forth stubble. Your breath is a fire that will devour you.


The sinners in Tziyon are afraid. Trembling has seized the godless ones. Who among us can live with the devouring fire? Who among us can live with everlasting burning?


when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Tziyon, and shall have purged the blood of Yerushalayim from its midst, by the spirit of justice, and by the spirit of burning.
