Hurry, escape there, for I can't do anything until you get there.* Therefore the name of the city was called Tzo`ar.


The news came to Yo'av; for Yo'av had turned after Adoniyahu, though he didn't turn after Avshalom. Yo'av fled to the Tent of the LORD, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.


The LORD has sworn, and will not change his mind: *You are a Kohen forever in the order of Malki-Tzedek.*


Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah.


She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her. Happy is everyone who retains her.


Take firm hold of instruction. Don't let her go. Keep her, for she is your life.


Or else let him take hold of my strength, that he may make shalom with me. Let him make shalom with me.*


I, even I, am he who comforts you: who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die, and of the son of man who shall be made as grass;


For thus says the LORD of the eunuchs who keep my Shabbatot, and choose the things that please me, and hold fast my covenant:


There is none who calls on your name, who stirs up himself to take hold of you; for you have hid your face from us, and have consumed us by means of our iniquities.


Turn to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope! Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.


God is not a man, that he should lie, nor the son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good?


Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

whom God set forth to be an atoning sacrifice, through faith in his blood, for a demonstration of his righteousness through the passing over of prior sins, in God's forbearance;


May it never be! Yes, let God be found true, but every man a liar. As it is written, *That you might be justified in your words, and might prevail when you come into judgment.*


and hope doesn't disappoint us, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.


If there is therefore any exhortation in Messiah, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion,


if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which is being proclaimed in all creation under heaven; of which I, Sha'ul, was made a servant.


to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Messiah in you, the hope of glory;


because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Good News,


and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead--Yeshua, who delivers us from the wrath to come.


Sha'ul, an emissary of Messiah Yeshua according to the mitzvah of God our Savior, and Messiah Yeshua our hope;


Fight the good fight of faith. Lay hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.


If we are faithless, he remains faithful. He can't deny himself.*


in hope of eternal life, which God, who can't lie, promised before time began;


By faith, Noach, being warned about things not yet seen, moved with godly fear, prepared a teivah for the saving of his house, through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.


as I swore in my wrath, 'They will not enter into my rest.'*


but Messiah is faithful as a Son over his house; whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the glorying of our hope firm to the end.


In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath;


(for the Torah made nothing perfect), and a bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.


(for they indeed have been made Kohanim without an oath), but he with an oath by him that says of him, *The Lord swore and will not change his mind, 'You are a Kohen forever, according to the order of Malki-Tzedek.'*


that the manslayer who kills any person unwittingly [and] unawares may flee there: and they shall be to you for a refuge from the avenger of blood.


If we say that we haven't sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.


He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who doesn't believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.


Also the Strength of Yisra'el will not lie nor repent; for he is not a man, that he should repent.
